Do you want to sharpen up your drawing skills? Look no further! Join textile and fashion designer Suki Bourne on this practical one-hour workshop to learn fashion drawing tricks based on the Museum’s best-selling books How to Draw Like a Fashion Designer and How to Draw Vintage Fashion.

Using a fashion template or croquis participants will learn how to turn a stick figure into a full figure and draw from garments taken from the museum’s collection. View the current exhibition before the workshop and be inspired to develop your own style of fashion drawing. This is a beginner’s step-by-step workshop suitable for ages 12+, perfect for budding designers and youngsters who have a passion for fashion.

About the tutor

Suki Bourne is a freelance fashion and textile designer who has worked both nationally and internationally. She teaches a variety of workshops at the Museum Including the popular Fashion Collection alongside bespoke group workshops. Suki also mentors young designers helping them to develop their work into commercially viable designs.
