Led by Zandra Rhodes’ dressmaker Jolanta Cerniauskiene, this popular one-day workshop will give you the know-how and confidence to work with high-end fabrics such as chiffon and silk satin.
Using a domestic sewing machine, you will learn a range of techniques such as French seam, pin hem, machine rolled hem with and without fishline, bias cut binding, button loops, satin stitch and pockets time permitting. You will come away with your own samples for each technique learnt in the class.
This workshop is open to anyone who knows how to use a sewing machine. Please bring a notebook to take notes.
